Mr. Salifu is a dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive experience in managerial, administrative, and development roles within the NGO sector. He possesses exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of strategic planning, program management, advocacy, and policy influence. Adept at fostering strong partnerships, driving organizational growth, and ensuring impactful outcomes in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives.


He worked as a Country Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager for Ghana WASH Alliance monitoring 11 Local Partners being funded by SIMAVI and the Dutch Government in Ghana. As a Consultant, he has evaluated projects by STAR Ghana, DFID and USAID among others working with KINAJ Consulting and SkyFOX Company Limited. He also worked briefly with APDO in Donkokrom and PRONET South in Accra.


He holds an MA in Development Studies from ISSER, University of Ghana, an MSc in Energy Economics from GIMPA, a BA in Development Studies from UDS, a Certificate in Achieving The Sustainable Development Goals on Water and Sanitation from the Asian Development Bank Institute, Tokyo, and a Certificate on Combined Construction, Audit and Inspection of Petrol Filling Stations from the Association of Petroleum and Explosives Administration, UK.


He is currently the Executive Director of WaterREG Ghana.
